Aisle Store Locator vs StoreLocators: 2026 Comparison

SMS cashback and retail marketing platform, with a store locator inside it

Aisle runs SMS cashback programs for CPG brands: a shopper unlocks an offer by text, buys at any retailer, and sends a photo of the receipt to get paid. Its store locator is the map inside that program, with offers on the pins and a claim flow that collects the shopper’s phone number. It comes with the Aisle platform at $499 a month rather than as a standalone product. StoreLocators is a locator on its own, and we compare it against every major where-to-buy platform on our hub.,

The short answer

Aisle is the better fit if you want cashback offers, SMS capture and receipt-verified sales, with a locator included in the $499 a month platform. StoreLocators is the better fit if the locator is the job: a public app listing, a free trial, coverage you can download before you buy, and no marketing platform you need to sign up for first.

What each product is designed to do, in its own terms. A capability named on one side is not a claim that the other lacks it, and neither column ranks the two: the table below is where they are compared row by row.

What Aisle is built for

  • You want cashback offers delivered by text to drive trial and repeat purchases at retail
  • Capturing shopper phone numbers and receipt data is a goal in itself
  • You want offers shown on the map, scoped to a retailer or a single SKU
  • A $499 monthly platform that bundles the locator with offers and attribution fits your budget
  • Your retail footprint is in the United States and Canada

If the cashback program is the reason you are talking to Aisle, its locator is a sensible part of that package.

What StoreLocators is built for

  • The locator is the whole job, not one part of a marketing program
  • You need a price and a trial before a sales call
  • You want retailer feeds refreshed daily and coverage you can download as CSV
  • Independent stockists need a way onto the map
  • Published contract terms matter: month to month, no termination fee

Pricing, and what each vendor publishes

Aisle publishes one figure: the locator is included with the Aisle platform at $499 a month. There is no locator-only plan, so the comparison is a locator subscription against a marketing platform that includes one.

Ours are on a third-party listing you can read without talking to anyone, and our terms are published in full.,

Aisle homepage

Read the homepage first and the shape of the company is clear. Aisle sells cashback offers delivered by text message, branded landing pages, SMS flows and surveys, Klaviyo sync, and receipt-based attribution of in-store sales. The locator is the place on a brand’s site where those offers meet a map, and it is built to capture the shopper as much as to route them.,

That makes it a different purchase from ours. A brand adopts Aisle for the cashback program and the shopper data, and the locator comes with it. A brand adopts StoreLocators for the locator.

Where StoreLocators is different

You can buy the locator on its own

Aisle’s locator is included with the Aisle platform at $499 a month and has no standalone plan. Ours is the product: install it from the Shopify App Store, start a free trial, and you are not signing up for a cashback platform to get a map.,

Terms you can read before a call

Our plans are $195, $395 and $995 a month on a public listing, month to month, with no termination fee and a 30-day refund window. Aisle publishes its $499 monthly platform price but no contract length, notice period or cancellation terms.,,

Coverage you can inspect

Our store lists publish 110,516 locations across 205 retailers as free CSV downloads. Aisle states a 200,000+ door figure but publishes no retailer list, so its coverage cannot be checked from outside.,

Independents can add themselves

Our Submit Your Location block lets a stockist that appears in no feed put itself forward for approval. Aisle publishes no equivalent.

Every row where the table above separates us

Taken from that table rather than written out again, so the two cannot disagree. A row shows up here when we publish an answer and they publish none, or when both answer and ours covers more of the feature. Rows where both sides publish a figure, a price or a rating, stay out: those differ by their content.

A locator inside a marketing program

Aisle’s locator is built around offers. Pins can carry a badge for an active promotion, a banner carousel sits at the top of the results, the most targeted offer is shown first, and claiming one collects a phone number and optional email with opt-in language, sent to Aisle’s customer data platform. A Buy Online tab routes shoppers to the nearest retailer.

It comes in three shapes: a general locator for every store carrying the brand, a retailer-specific one scoped to one or more chains, and a product-specific one scoped to a single SKU or line. It emits analytics events to GA4, a brand’s CDP and Aisle’s own reporting, with UTM and referrer data attached.

If cashback offers and SMS capture are what you are buying, that design is a strength, and a locator like ours does none of it. If you only need shoppers to find a store that has your product, it is a lot of program to take on for a map.

Moving from Aisle to StoreLocators

Moving the locator is simple. The bigger question is whether you are leaving Aisle or keeping the cashback program and only replacing the map, because Aisle’s offers and claim flow live inside its locator.

  1. Decide what staysIf you keep Aisle for cashback and SMS, confirm with them how offers will reach shoppers once the map changes. If you are leaving entirely, export your shopper and campaign data first. One conversation
  2. Install alongsidePut StoreLocators on a staging theme or a single page and let retailer discovery run on your catalogue while the Aisle locator is still live.Under 5 minutes to install
  3. Check coverage on your real retailersCompare what discovery found against the retailers you actually sell through, and request anything missing.Days, not weeks
  4. Swap the snippet and keep the URLReplace the Aisle embed with our app section or script, and keep the where-to-buy page at the same URL.An hour

Frequently asked questions

What is Aisle?

Aisle is a retail marketing platform for CPG brands, run by Textnology, Inc. Shoppers unlock cashback offers by text message, buy at a retailer, and text a photo of the receipt to get paid. Brands get SMS flows, branded landing pages, Klaviyo sync and attribution of in-store sales. Aisle says over 600 brands use it.

Does Aisle have a store locator?

Yes. It is an embeddable locator with ZIP, city and address search, stock status per store, offer badges on the map, a Buy Online tab and a claim flow that collects a phone number. It comes in general, retailer-specific and product-specific versions and installs with one script snippet. It covers the United States and Canada.

Can I get the Aisle store locator without being an Aisle customer?

No, as Aisle publishes it. Its FAQ says the locator is "Included with the Aisle platform at $499/month", and there is no locator-only plan or sign-up. If you only need the locator, StoreLocators sells it on its own with a free trial.,

How much does Aisle cost?

Aisle says its store locator is included with the Aisle platform at $499 a month, which also covers offers, loyalty and punch cards, receipt-verified attribution, reviews and surveys. Contract length and cancellation terms are not published, so get those in writing.

Where does Aisle get its store data?

Aisle says it scrapes 200,000+ retail doors daily, so brands do not upload store lists. It does not publish which retailers those are or how accurate the results are, so treat both the door count and the in-stock claims as Aisle’s own.

What is the best Aisle alternative?

It depends what you use Aisle for. If you want a where-to-buy locator on its own, StoreLocators installs from the Shopify App Store, publishes its prices and contract terms, and refreshes retailer feeds daily. If you rely on Aisle’s cashback offers and SMS program, a store locator replaces none of that.
