Retailer-Exclusive Landing Pages
Overview
Retailer-exclusive landing pages allow you to showcase and leverage the credibility major retail partnerships bring your brand. Your retail partners will appreciate you having a highly converting tool that drives in-store traffic.
You have the ability to filter down your store locator to only display select retail partners. You can create as many instances of the store locator as you'd like. This allows you to provide targeted experiences for different channels & partners.
When to Use This Feature
Retail launches: Create dedicated pages for major retail launches. Example: Blueland x Target.
Channel separation: Optionally separate your channels. Example : BushBalm x Ulta vs BushBalm Studio Locator.
Marketing campaigns: Direct traffic to a specific retailer within marketing campaigns. Example: Lalo x Target saw over 4,000 locator visits within hours of launching.
User experience: Help customers find stores in their preferred retail channel.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Duplicate Your Store Locator Page
Navigate to your Store Locator page in your Shopify admin (Online Store → Pages)
Click Duplicate to create a copy
Rename the duplicated page (e.g., "Walmart Locations" or "Independent Stores")
Step 2: Create a New Page Template
Go to your Shopify Theme Editor (Online Store → Themes → Customize)
Click Create template
Name your template (e.g., "Independents" or "Walmart")
Base it on your existing store locator's page template
Step 3: Configure the Live Retail Map Section
In your new template, locate the Live Retail Map section
If you don't see it, add it manually:
Click Add section
Select Apps → Live Retail Map
Click on the Live Retail Map section to open the settings panel
In the settings panel, find the Filter by Retailers option
Select your target retailers:
For independent stores: Select "Retailer Managed Retail"
For major retailers: Select specific retailers (Walmart, Target, etc.)
You can select multiple retailers for combined pages
Save your changes
Step 4: Verify Your Results
Preview your page to confirm only the selected retailers appear
Independent stores will show with different markers than major retailers
Zoom out to see the full coverage area and verify filtering is working
Step 5: Repeat for Additional Retailers
Duplicate your original store locator page again
Create new templates for each retailer-specific page you want
Configure each with the appropriate retailer filters
Pro Tips
Template Management: Always duplicate your original page first, then make retailer-specific changes within each individual template. This keeps your main store locator unchanged.
Naming Convention: Use clear, descriptive names for your pages and templates (e.g., "Walmart Store Locator", "Independent Retailers") to stay organized.
Testing: Preview each retailer-exclusive page before publishing to ensure the correct stores are displaying.
