As an omni-channel brand with major retail partnerships, they needed to capitalize on the week leading up to Christmas—when online shipping cutoffs prevented direct-to-consumer deliveries—while driving significant traffic to their retail partners' stores.
The brand had already evolved beyond its e-commerce roots but needed a reliable way to connect last-minute holiday shoppers with in-stock products at nearby retailers.
The Solution
BlendJet deployed StoreLocators' Live Retail Map integrated with their Shopify Plus storefront, enabling real-time product availability across all retail partners. The solution provided instant, accurate inventory data that ensured customers were never led to out-of-stock locations—a common issue that occurs about one-third of the time with traditional store locators.
During the critical week before Christmas 2023, BlendJet executed a targeted SMS campaign through Recart, sending 325,000 text messages that linked directly to their Live Retail Map. This strategic approach connected online customers with nearby in-stock locations precisely when DTC fulfillment was no longer an option.
The Results
The campaign delivered exceptional results across multiple metrics. BlendJet achieved 7-figures in incremental retail sales during Christmas week alone, representing a 3x year-over-year increase in retail sales for that period. The SMS campaign generated a 2.2% click-through rate—significantly above industry averages—while also driving $49.2K in direct-to-consumer sales from customers who chose online options.
